the streets looked like they were abandoned, not a sound was made. Why? Well, maybe everyone went to the stadium to see their favorite celebrity perform for them. That's just where they were. The crowd was roaring with applause as Mina the Mongoose was finishing up a song. "Whew alright everyone, now you may think that the concert is over but guess what? Its not! I have a very special guest here to also perform for all of you here tonight!" As Mina said this, the performer peeked out of the curtain to look at the crowd. 'first time performing, I better not screw it up. Wait what am I talking about? I give speeches a bunch of times, I haven't messed those up! But speech giving and singing for crowd of people are 2 different things.' She thought "Here to perform a song she wrote by herself, put your hands together for… Princess Sally Acorn!!" The crowd went wild as the princess stepped out to the stage, facing everyone. "hello everyone" she said as Mina handing the mic to her "now you all are probably shocked that I'm here on stage, but truth is I wrote this song just for fun and I never thought I would actually perform it." The audience laughed "so here I go" Sally turned to Mina and nodded her head, she nodded back as her band started playing. Unaware to Sally, Mina had a special someone backstage ready to give his appearance in the middle of her song. "you ready?" Mina asked "I've been ready" "well good 'cause shes starting now." She notified "past cool"

"Get ready! Here comes your cue!" Mina told him "I know I know I'm ready wheres the mic?" Mina handed him the mic. "Cool lets do it to it."

Sally turned to where the voice came from, coming out from the curtain was the one and only Sonic the Hedgehog with a mic in his hand. The crowd applaud loudly for their hero.

Both of them: Right beside you is where I belong from this moment on
Sonic: From this moment, I have been blessed
Sally: I live only, for you happiness
Both: And for your love, I give my last breath, from this moment on

"surprise Sal" Sonic said as the band played for a bit. Sally simply just smiled, the song that was meant for him ended up with him performing it with her.

Sally: I give my hand to you with all my heart
Sonic: I cant wait to live my life with I cant wait to start
Both: You and I will never be apart, my dreams came true because of you
From this moment as long as I live I will love you, I promise you this.
There is nothing I wouldn't give from this moment on

They stopped singing for a moment as Sonic got his guitar and played a guitar solo while Sally just looked at him and began singing again with all her heart and soul

The song ended with both of them gazing into each others eyes, a combination for sapphire and emerald green eyes. The crowd went wild over their amazing performance together, as Mina stepped on stage. "Well! I never thought that you guys would be amazing on stage, but that was just outstanding give another round of applause to Sonic and Sally!" the audience clapped and cheered for they had just witnessed the most memorable event of their lives.

After the show, Sally went to find Sonic, it remained a question in her mind of how was Sonic aware of her song. "Looking for someone?" a voice said. Sally turned and saw Sonic sitting by a tree looking over the horizon. "as a matter for fact I am and that would be you." She clarified. "how you know about the song?" Sonic laughed "the hedgehog knows about everything." "uh huh.. except how to be patient" she smirked "hey!" Sally laughed and sat right next to him. "were you surprised?" "yeah, I didn't know you were coming on stage with him, that song was meant for you but I guess we performed it of the both of us." "heh yeah.." He sighed "can I tell you something?" the princess question "what is it?" he asked "well I've been thinking about last year, we had it rough. You know, you going into space and missing a whole year of your life, adjusting to things, me becoming ruler while my parents were going away, and then your… homecoming celebration.." Her voice trailed off as she said this, recalling the whole scene that happened.

Sonic noticed the look of her face that said that she was ashamed of herself for doing what she did, the guilt in her eyes tells it all. He gently put his hand under her chin and lifted it up to face him. "It wasn't your fault Sal, I mean I should have stayed by your side when you went a year without me. I'll admit I was selfish at a time that you needed me most. So.. c-could we- ya know start over?" As he said this, he was suddenly tackled to the grass as Sally hugged him. In a sudden motion, he felt like all his senses had awakened. Sally did it. She kissed him. He was in the moment that he kissed her back. After what seemed like eternity they parted, he smiled at her and then said "soooo is that yes?" She laughed and laid her head on his chest "yes. Yes it is." She said. the couple spent the rest of the day under the tree that looked on over the horizon as they imagined their future and many happy days to come..
